Celina Paras, PA-C, MS, RD

Certified Physician Assistant

Celina Paras PA-C, MS, RD is a board-certified physician assistant and registered dietitian with a deep passion for patient-centered care. She is committed to promoting preventive care and managing chronic illnesses to prevent complications.

A native of Mexico, Celina has lived in Texas most of her life and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Shortly after graduation, she was awarded a scholarship to study in the United Kingdom where she completed a graduate degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition at University College London. She subsequently practiced as a dietitian in San Antonio where she helped to improve her patients’ overall health by managing their nutritional care. Celina’s experiences inspired her to further her studies and broaden her scope of practice. She returned to graduate school and completed a Master in Physician Assistant Studies. She then worked as primary care physician assistant at a nonprofit clinic in South Texas where she served her community and gained invaluable experience in family medicine.

Celina is excited to join BestCare Family Medicine of Texoma. She loves getting to know her patients and working together to improve their health while building long-lasting relationships. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and exploring the outdoors with her dog Maya.

Christopher Karmout, MD

Board-Certified Family Physician

Dr. Karmout is a highly skilled and dedicated board-certified family medicine physician, known for his commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients of all ages. With a diverse background and extensive training, Dr. Karmout has become a trusted medical professional in his field.

Dr. Karmout embarked on his medical journey by graduating from the Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program in 2015. This rigorous training program provided them with comprehensive experience and knowledge in family medicine, preparing him to address a wide range of medical conditions and promote wellness in his patients.

Prior to his residency, Dr. Karmout completed his undergraduate studies at the prestigious University of Texas at Austin. Here, he gained a solid foundation in the sciences and honed his critical thinking skills. Subsequently, he pursued his medical education at Texas A&M College of Medicine. This institution equipped him with the necessary medical knowledge and clinical skills to excel in his future practice.

Throughout his career, Dr. Karmout has gained invaluable experience working in various medical settings. He has spent considerable time in hospitals, where he has provided compassionate care to patients with acute and chronic conditions. his exposure to the hospital environment has allowed his to develop a keen understanding of complex medical cases and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Additionally, Dr. Karmout has honed his skills in the fast-paced environment of the emergency department. He has demonstrated exceptional competence in managing urgent and emergent medical situations, ensuring prompt and effective treatment for patients in critical need.

As a testament to his commitment to excellence, Dr. Karmout is an esteemed member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. His membership in this prestigious organization reflects his dedication to staying abreast of the latest developments in family medicine and collaborating with colleagues to advance the field. Moreover, he is proud to be board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, which underscores their expertise and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Karmout maintains a deep passion for community service and improving healthcare access for underserved populations. He actively participates in volunteer initiatives and community outreach programs, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
